In this episode of the World Footy Podcast, host Tim interviews Molly Coleman, a passionate player and Head of Women‘s Football for AFL Switzerland. Molly shares her unique journey from growing up in Victoria, to discovering international footy in Vietnam. Encouraged by her accountant, Molly found the Vietnam Swans that helped her acclimate to her new surroundings in Vietnam. Her footy journey then took her back to Australia with Fitzroy FC, before moving to Switzerland where she now plays for the Winterthur Lions. Molly discusses the challenges of building a women's team in Switzerland, the cultural differences in playing styles across countries, and her ambitious goals for the European Championships. With a focus on community and integration, Molly is driving a recruitment effort to grow the sport and ensure that AFL continues to thrive internationally.
